Surprised no one mentioned this yet.

All fans of clubs should be very careful what they wish for. The current owner of Sunderland seems an OK guy from what I saw on the Netflix series and way better than Ellis Short. So now William Storey comes along and you all know what a tricky guy he is. If you don't, read up on the title sponsorship for Haas F1 that never was and the logo they had which was a rip of of bike company "Whyte bikes".
There is also the Rich Energy drink brand that you can't buy anywhere.

The energy drink doesn’t even exist from what I have read.
Surely even the unfit and improper fit and proper person test will catch this charlatan out...
Storey: “I have enough money to fund the club”
EFL: “Where does your money come from?”
Storey: “Selling energy drinks”
EFL: “How many energy drinks do you sell?”
Storey: “Erm....we haven’t made any yet”
EFL: “Excellent, welcome to the EFL!”

Turns out the drink was finally launched in March 2020. It was before that I had read about it.
Here is the product: https://www.richenergy.life/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Interestingly, the registered company on that website does not show Storey as a director: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/comp ... 6/officers" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Storey is however Director of this company: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/comp ... ng-history" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Unsure what the role of the latter company is in the drink.
