Good to see a few Glos sides going well in the Cup. The Second Qualifying Round draw was made yesterday.

Tie of the round has to be Longlevens vs Gloucester, guaranteeing Shire representation in the Third Qual.

Cirencester have a home game against Merthyr or Hamworthy.

Cleeve travel to Aylesbury.

Yate at home to Gosport.

Still three wins away from the First Round Proper so a tough ask, but it would be great to face one of them. Gloucester the most likely.

It’s Hamworthy for Ciren today.

Good luck to all Shire sides.

Well well. 1-1 at the break, Longlevens recovering from an early City goal.

Humiliation avoided for Gloucester as they run out 3-1. Comfortable but perhaps harder than it should have been.

Hope they make round one now for another derby!

Cirencester lose 3-2 away at Hungerford, to a 90th minute winner. Brave effort from Ciren who almost forced a surprise replay against the side from two divisions higher.

Gloucester lose 1-0 at Folkestone, from the Isthmian League, one league below City.

Yate Town are the only Gloucestershire FA affiliated side in the final qualifying round I believe.

Think you should concentrate on your own results Sam.

Was very surprised to hear Will Grigg was on fire again today, given all the rain.

I have posted about today’s loss and extensively about Tuesday’s battering.

Sorry if being proud of Gloucestershire and wanting all the County’s teams to get through to the First Round proper offends you. Hope you do it next season.

FGR’s first round game is on BBC, so some Shire representation on TV even if we do not make it through to another 3rd or 4th round glamour tie.

Yate beat Dover in a fourth qual replay to make the First Round for just the second time in their history.
