A howler; the BBC report believes it to be a block! - skewed shot [stupidly at ground level] accidentally hit their player and zoomed into our empty net! Bizarre; however negated by excellent work a minute or two later! Great finish by May; who subsequently missed several! We should have been 3 up at half-time and coasting. Broom up-ended, saw the red mist and clattered his opponent; silly; earning himself an unnecessary yellow; as did Reid chattering to the ref! Need to cut this out; may affect the squad later. but decent performance all round, especially so in those awful conditions. That made a mockery of 'decent' footy. One could sense that we may well have ended up as a wasted draw - great cross, super header - three points rescued.
At least 'we' all scored points, pas and myself with maximums
Mansfield Town up next at home; so going to be slightly more optimistic with a 3-1 win with May to open the scoring again.Hopefully calmer weather too........ 5/0/0=5
