New player to be announced, not been told who though, hope it's a big experienced target man who puts himself about.

Hope you are right Robin. With the injuries, lack of striking options, our abysmal form and the CBB thing I'd like to see us bring in 4 or 5.

Can I see it happening? Probably not.

My hope and aspirations for this season are rapidly diminishing, yet another youngster on loan exactly what we don't need. His goal scoring record is two in seven games down in the conference as well.

I assume at least one of the Liverpool kids is going back then, or will be out injured for a while.

To be honest, if we keep Dunn I don't care if Johnstone never scores if he can hold up the ball and create lots.

Jones extended to end of season - other two returned for treatment. Dunn (hamstring - so prob would have been out for 3 to 4 weeks) and Stewart (thigh).

With any luck perhaps we can get Dunn back when fit again although will only be for the remaining 2 months of short term loan.

Thanks for the info. I thought it was a youth loan so can be extended to end of season at any time?

Possibly then - not sure on that. My first sentence was news , my second sentence was an opinion (which took a guess at the short term loan bit)

I believe one of the Liverpool loanees think its Dunn but not sure is too old for a youth loan.

Stewart is the eldest of the three. I expect we've seen the last of Dunn. If Liverpool look to loan him out again, I imagine there will be plenty of suitors in higher divisions in the Football League.

Elliot Richards has had his contract cancelled by Tranmere. Could he be Cheltenham bound?

Richards I suspect is coming here, will give us options and some pace but not a real goal scorer and certainly no replacement for Dunn.
