Must seek compensation from the squatters if the match called off. How much more pain will it take for Baker to act.

We just want our pitch back Alf. New signings eager to make their debuts today. Fans eager to see them. Is it really worth having to move games like this to a Tuesday night just to sell a few beers to Gloucester fans?
Get them out or at least get proper money out of them.

I can't see what difference an hour is going to make 2 hours maybe but not an hour.

Just when you think the club can't get more amateurish.

Final decision at 12. Just rang the club. Bloody joke!

I had to check here as the website is not updating information. Molehills outside are unfrozen so the game should be on. Poor communication by CTFC.

There's no easy solution as this would involve making a decision too early, before a pitch has had a chance to defrost. Calling games off early when the pitch later proves to be ok will infuriate a lot of home fans and hit clubs financially.Nesty wrote:surely the final inspection has to be at a time that safely still allows travelling fans to get to the game
I was told the frost covers were on
Yesterday the sun came out and it went up to 6C at Pittville
I can imagine that the away end has barely thawed out all week
With no sun it will be touch and go
We need some of the straw from the racecourse on top of frost cover
There is of course a another explanation ( conspiracy theory) but I am not going there

The message from Paul Baker should be: pay double the rent or relocate.51/84 wrote:they only have the tiggers to blame
