We are capable to do well in this league, keep the bulk of the squad, improvement where needed.

Unlucky not to have taken all 3 points. Thought Raglan was a bit untidy today

Should have won that really as we looked much the better team and I think they scored with their only real effort on target.

I'd also like to give special praise to Connor Thomas who is often maligned but he easily had his best game in a Chelt shirt.

Add a striker (not convinced with Bingham) and a decent midfielder to replace Clements and no reason we cannot challenge next season.

A good team performance against a well organised tough side. I thought all subs played apart and Bingham was unnlucky not to get a couple. His distribution and positional play was good. Nice to see Long back involved. All fourteen were decent today and the few mistakes made were made in honest effort. Exeter were irritable when we didn't cave in. Why was the keeper Varney incident a penalty but not a straight red card? Refs get stranger and stranger. Bring back Kettle.

Keeper went for the ball, it wasn't a deliberate/professional foul, it wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity. It wasn't a red card. Neither was it handball when the sub keeper came out at the end like the radio comms apparently thought it was.

Thought Bingham was unlucky with his attempts but needs to put more effort in to winning the ball and battling. Great penalty from Thomas after a long wait. Coulda woulda shoulda won. If Barnett had been fit I think we would have as we missed his aerial presence and Troy Brown won absolutely bloody everything in the air. Still, happy overall.

Overall, we just about deserved to win. The first half was even - maybe slightly in their favour. We got stronger as the game went on and had more clear cut chances than them.

I like Bingham, though he needs to do more off the ball like Varney and Barnett. He has some nice touches though and is pacey. He was unlucky not to register his first goal for us against Cambridge when their defender handled on the line. We all know how important it is for strikers to get off the mark. He hasn't had many opportunities to shine, having only started a couple of times, so it's unfair to write him off yet. Many were rubbishing Tozer earlier in the season, but now he is a contender for player of the season!
