Doesn't tell us a lot we didn't know already, but a cracking read all the same.

Mildly curious who the 2 first-teamers coming to blows would have been, but no doubt gossip-mongers on here will fill the gaps...........

good read.
Cheltenham Town have not had the accolades they are due, or had the same level of coverage that the likes of Yeovil, Hereford have had and no doubt FGR will get when they join us in L1

If true, absolutely but surrounding it is inaccurate:

"In his time the club have paid a fee for a single player: £5,000 for Alfie May" when we've paid fees for B Williams and Brown

Has one player ever made such history changing contributions to a club as both player and manager?

To think it started with a teenage Duff setting up that equaliser vs Gloucester 25 years ago. Then a couple of years later that winner vs Yeovil. And now back to back record breakout seasons as manager.

Eclipsing Cotterill as all time CTFC legend imo.

Funnily enough I was thinking the same a few days back. In terms of overall contributions it has to me MD

Then there are the uncompromising forfeits. “One of them is the glove slap,” says Duff. “They get the goalkeeper’s glove, soak it in water, and then twat them across the face – twice. We often laugh because we say: ‘Can you imagine Ronaldo doing this?’
