50/50 chance home or away and of course it comes down on the side of the 5am drive from Scotland option :/
So, McCann and Duff are our first two games. What are the odds. Probably about 46/2 I guess.
Bloody Plymouth on Boxing Day again. Another Boxing Day to forget.

Exeter away couldn’t be a better date for a summer weekend away. Apart from I already have a summer weekend away booked.
Morecambe and FGR in the 43rd and 44th games already looking like relegation deciders.

No, I don't think so... Even taking both draws in isolation, getting an old boy in the second match can at best be 22-1 as Barnsley (when it was 23-1) was no longer in the pot at that point - and, in any case, I don't think the calculation is quite as simple as adding the product of each draw.......oh, wait......that was a rhetorical question, wasn't it....?Shade wrote:So, McCann and Duff are our first two games. "Oh I do like to be (sort of) beside the seaside."
Fleetwood the Tuesday before if a few days in Blackpool is more your bag.

The thing I hadn't appreciated about the fixtures coming out is how stark the strength of League One appears when laid out in front of you. It's going to be a tough, tough season.
Strength based on team names alone? Because we don't know how many of them will be any good yet!Jerry St Clair wrote: ↑23 Jun 2022, 12:46 The thing I hadn't appreciated about the fixtures coming out is how stark the strength of League One appears when laid out in front of you. At this stage, however, it does look like there will probably be a batch of 7 or 8 teams, us included, fighting to stay above the dotted line. A good start could be crucial, and we're playing two teams relegated from the Championship that are among the favourite to go back up

In a way a good time to play them whilst they are in transition. A bit like Charlton away last season when their team was still all over the place.Shade wrote: ↑23 Jun 2022, 13:16Strength based on team names alone? The odds of that outcome if you wanted those two clubs sequentially at the start it are super long .. (23 x22) to 1 .asl wrote: ↑23 Jun 2022, 12:23No, I don't think so...
