You honestly think DF gives a fig about FGR, its a huge payday for him that he will walk away from when an assistant managers job comes up at a champ or prem club, he has way too much prem (playing) credit to be faffing about with FGR.
This appointment was pure PR from (for) Vince.

An absolute s#!t show
I remember seeing our fans getting jealous because we hadn’t signed players. Now their fans say they’ve singed WORSE players and a worse manager at a huge cost
Yet again, I’m grateful we’ve got a board who understand football.
FGR fans have been mugged by their absentee-chair

2,670 at The New Lawn tonight, including 871 from Charlton. So 1,799 home fans.
Announce it now: they only get one half of the Hazlewoods like Accy did. Fill the rest with Robins.

Easy money, so why not.
If I was him I’d be calling Sean Dyche to line up a coaching role in the Everton set up starting in the summer. Then take the Ecotricity cash, get relegated, blame the previous regime for poor signings, then walk.
There's an interview today with their D of F who talks a good game and says that big Dunc is on a long contract and they recruited with League Two in the back of their mind although the Championship in five years is the aim.
That sounded like keying in Championship into your satnav and then choosing the scenic route until it dawned on me he must be meaning the Scottish Championship. Then everything made sense to me.
Scottish manager, players, D of F, plenty of wind power opportunities....perfect for Ecotricity.

They might be down before your predicted date at this rate.
Duncan obviously didn’t shout and show enough passion today.

I think Vince is determined to rival Wrexham for the ‘most expensive route to L2’ accolade.
Lol what age are you????RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: ↑18 Feb 2023, 17:15 They might be down before your predicted date at this rate.

Old enough to know that it was very unlikely DF was going to be the right fit (tactically, psychologically, metaphysically) for a struggling L1 side despite more simple minds on here saying FGR would fly up the table because DF did OK when managed Everton for a bit based on the emotional connection between club and manager.Ihearye wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 15:14Lol what age are you????RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: ↑18 Feb 2023, 17:15 They might be down before your predicted date at this rate.

A rare point for Big Dunc’s L2 boys.

If your question mark means you are asking if it possible losing that game means we go down, then currently, yes it it is possible.
We might be safe by then. Or we might lose and still go on to say up.
A lot of football to be played between now and then!

2-1 loss at Accrington and a red card.
But shouting and passion though.
Is there a better example of how changing a manager often makes relegation more inevitable?
