She didn’t last long….

Talk about other football teams at all levels. AND ANY Glos City related threads, even if talking about the groundsharing.

He lasted even longer than expected. So they have now had more managers than wins in the last year

The shame, of course, is that Vince might actually pick someone who knows what he's doing next.

Good listen Simon Jordon and his views on the sacking of Troy Deeney and FGR in general, on talksport. He can certainly see the circus for what it is

SC is high up the list of favourites for the job - both with the bookies and the fans.

Of course he is. Any club in League Two would be stupid not to want him. Getting him, though...
Not sure he'd want to drop to the bottom of League Two and risk relegation to the National League? Unless he's trying to grow his legend with CTFC fans by making sure they go back to the NL

Cotters won't go there. It's the lunatics running the asylum. He wouldn't get on with DV or that so called DOF. He just needs to wait a little longer for the right job.

Just read Deeney's first post-sacking interview where he "lashes out at FGR"
Apparently he hasn't spoke to Vince, he got the director of football to do the dirty work. All the clubs fault, of course, according to Deeney and not the way he has acted. Reckons he's been used for his contacts. However, he makes very good points about what a shambles it all is up there.

In all seriousness you would have to question anyone who took that job. Most people I have ever interviewed ask why did the last person leave the position. It wouldn't sound great if I said we sacked him. But if they had to be asking why did the last 5 leave within a year or so ........ Well would you still want to get the job??????

Troy Deeney on Match of the Day 2 as a pundit. Talks a good game... sacked from the rabble bottom of the football league and currently critiquing the tactics of two teams in the top half of the Premier League.

had a quick look on the fgr forum and last Saturday DV was strutting around the hospitality box in a pair of joggers with 'f#!$ you' written on the back (evidently).

He’s an absolute embarrassment.
