I just looked it up and it seems he's unlikely to sign a new deal at Crewe and lives in Coventry. I would imagine we pay similar wages to Crewe but geography would work in our favour if he were to come here. I do find it odd he'd be on trial though having seemingly turned down an offer from Crewe. It's usually released youngsters who haven't secured a club or players coming back from injury who go on trial.
He may have just wanted minutes or his agent wanted other clubs to watch him.

Away from debating who the trialists were, one more observation from Friday from me, that all white kit looks fantastic, shame we don't wear it more often.

Bit disappointed he’s not joined us unless we’ve got someone else lined up.

Were we fully in for him? You'd imagine we can offer better wages than Newport.
