Well that isn't a lineup or apparent formation that inspires confidence. 1 up front, Bowman of all of them, at home to second bottom Accy? Taylor injured, Dulson ill. Bench looks it's weakest this season.

3-4-2-1?

That is a lot of gaps in the stands. 2300, maybe? Officially, it'll be a lot higher of course based on ST sales. At the moment, 10 ST holders that sit around me aren't here...

Fair to say Accrington have got the ref figured out already. I think just once one of their players has gone down and not had a free kick given...

What is the point of having Pett in attacking midfield. Surely Norkett would do a better job if he wants to play that extra man in midfield. Bennet off, Pett back, another man advanced.

Bennett and Young in defensive midfield...another goal they contribute heavily towards conceding.

I see very little reason to believe we won't be getting relegated again. I was in the 'give it 10-12 games' camp, but we've had 9 and if anything the team is getting worse.

Two of our key experienced signings in Young and Bennett have been an absolute joke and the rest aren't much better. Do we actually have any players who'd get into most other L2 sides? Can't think of a single one I'd be bothered about if they left. And unfortunately that goes for the manager too.

The first thing we need is Bennett out of the team, but Flynn isn't gonna do that. He offers nothing but trouble. Pett, our best holding mid, is anonymous in attacking mid, apart from when he drops deep and the one time he was put clear on goal but hit it straight at the keeper.

Watching on TV and this is desperate stuff. I’m not sure getting rid of Flynn is the answer, the players are just not good enough. Not sure how we are going to turn this season around.

Well, that equaliser came out of nowhere! An undeserved winner would be wonderful.

Ryan Bowman. Never had a doubt

What a cross from Kinsella. Get the ball on the ground into the final third and look what can happen!

Amazing save by Evan’s at the death there but what the absolute f#!$ hell is our defence doing giving up a free header in the 96th minute when we’ve got 10 men back, yikes

2 massive saves by Evans tonight. The one in the first half just as important. And his rush out of goal. And to think a few thought he'd be our biggest issue

Food for thought for Flynn. Takes Bennett off for Norkett and Pett with the excellent pass to him to start the sequence for the goal.

Even more food for thought with Kinsella getting MoTM

So we get gifted an equaliser and suddenly start playing like a team. What a strange game. Will take the points however we can get them!

A battling 20 minute display and 3 welcome points, giving Flynn another breathing space to try again to sort out the obvious mess. Over the whole 90 minutes though, I thought we were relegation standard, which is pretty much how we’ve looked over the five home games as a whole.

You know how sometimes you get "confidence" players - without our main attacking threats in AJB, Taylor, Thomas, Dulson it looks as if we've turned into a team of confidence players - we need a bit of luck, or an opposition mistake or a player to come on and chance their arm like Norkett did today. Great win but we need to dig in whilst players are out🤔

Put in quality crosses and Bowman will score - he's not got the turn of pace that Dulson has so it's up to the FB/WB to put in better crosses to the box? After another mistake, maybe take Bennett out of the firing line on Saturday?

Do you think that Taylor was rested after offering out one of the fans on the weekend? A couple of bad touches and the crowd could have got on his back - for all the good things he's done for us last season and this? If he can only play 45 minutes, then have him being a nuisance in the second half?

Tbh I'd be damn sure that if Pell was in our midfield right now, we wouldn't be allowing last-minute free headers in our box to the opposition, and he'd be demanding higher passing standards throughout the game. We're missing his leadership.
