So far today the only post appearing on the club media channels has been an advert for Jameson's.
Officially, we know Flynn "parted company" on Saturday. But we know nothing else. We don't know who's in interim charge, who is going to be taking charge on Saturday or anything about a search for a replacement.
I didn't necessarily expect chapter and verse first thing on Monday morning, but the club need to put out some pretty clear comms sharpish. Pictures of Steve Sidwell on Twitter and absolutely nothing else will not cut it.

The club didn't even send a WhatsApp notification when the manager was sacked. Nothing. Found out from non-club media.
Anyway, I've seen the update published today. I note they are not "devastated" by this departure, unlike when the DoF resigned last week.

Just bumping this thread because in the week we sacked a manager, and two weeks after the Director of Football left, we have had zero media appearances from the owner or chairman or anyone. Just a 156 word statement on the club website, following on from the 48 word one on Saturday evening. So much for communication.
Related, but obviously not a club matter. Nothing on the Echo website either since Saturday! Not even a retrospective on Flynn's time in charge.

The Echo is part time in its coverage. That is not a moan , the whole content is very lightweight but I still buy it as we are lucky to have a newspaper in the area. MG isn’t exactly giving off vibes that he’d like to improve the club’s media presence given his own lack of.
Perhaps he has a “cunning plan” …..art vandalay wrote: ↑26 Sep 2025, 18:29 MG isn’t exactly giving off vibes that he’d like to improve the club’s media presence given his own lack of.

It is, and especially towards the second largest shareholder in the club who made a public appeal for better (or, at least, some) communication.
