Michael Duff is out of work again, apparently.

Old man Marlon Pack playing as a centre back these days for Portsmouth, live on ITV at the moment.

Aidan Keena voted player of the month for February in Ireland. Good to see him back in form.

Darrell Clarke sacked by Barnsley.

Training ground probably needed a lick of paint or something.

Even more obscure from the Europa League last night: Yuri Berchiche scored for Bilbao against Roma.

...and he's just pulled off a worldy to deny Celtic an equaliser.

Thoughts today with Grant McCann.

His mum Valerie passed away suddenly this week. R.I.P.

This is a really deep cut here but if anyone remembers Guy Madjo (came in from Crawley, 7 appearances, no goals, left for Shrewsbury)…?

His son Brian made his international debut yesterday for Luxembourg at the age of 16 in a 1-0 win over Sweden (and looks like a serious talent - look up the highlights on YouTube and you’d never believe he was 16)

Yes I remember Guy Madjo. Around 2007 under John Ward or Keith Downing when we were having difficultly signing forwards?

I remember him coming on against...Leeds?...and basically roughing up the opposition. They had no idea what to do with him. He wasn't much good - but that little cameo was certainly entertaining!

Levi Laing signs for Aldershot and Greg Sloggett joins Boston United.

...and Ryan Bowman doesn't appear to have signed for anyone.

I liked Laing. He will get back in to League 2 eventually.

Lined up alongside Will Armitage today, but 2 nil down at half-time.

A brace for Alfie May, today - and also one for Joven Malcolm (remember him...?)

Levi Laing in the National League team of the week. And Aldershot beat Woking to get to the FA Trophy final. Beating your local rivals to get to Wembley. Not a bad way to spend a weekend.

An Alfie May-inspired (so say the BBC) thrashing of Barnsley by Brum yielded two goals and two assists for our former hero.

I don’t think this is a drill - Taylor Perry has just scored a lovely goal for Shrewsbury.

Nathan Butler-Oyedeji on the bench for Arsenal in the Champions League QF against Real Madrid.

Alfie May opened the scoring as Brum won and gained promotion. Only a matter of a game or two until he has League 1 and League 2 winners medals. If Wrexham don't win on Saturday, they could win the Trophy and L1 in the space of about 27 hours.

I wonder if there is a promotion add on fee for Charlton and therefore for us.

I expect Charlton will do very well indeed out of this.
For us, a preseason friendly and a packet of peanuts............

Could have been worse, he could have had a re-sale value. That one will never die

Now has 4 in the last couple of games but prior to that he went 17 games without a goal.

I wonder if they will stick with him for the Championship or if they will look to flog him as a ‘League 1 specialist’.

It's not a sleight on Alfie in any way shape or form, but I suspect their owners will be looking to the top of the Championship, so will be pushing for more established Championship standard players.

I'd love to be proved wrong though.

For his sake I hope so. That commute from Landen to Brum, and back, every day must be a killer :)

Thought Blues paid him a considerable relocation fee?

Jack Shepherd with a 95th minute own goal gifts Swindon the winner, sharing 9 (nine) goals.

What a game that was.
Fair play to Holloway, he’s turned Swindon around and they are scoring goals for fun. Good shout for promotion next season I reckon.

Could definitely see him going to Luton or Plymouth next season (assuming they are relegated). Luton especially have parachute payments still pending so could possibly afford to match his Brum salary.

Maybe even one of the progressive L2 promoted teams, though money might be a problem there.
