Still not good enough for L1, though.

Well if anyone is already missing their football fix there's an opportunity to see old boys when FGR play their playoff match up the hill.

Cue abuse and derision.

Ryan Broom of Fleetwood and Curtis Thompson of Grimsby both released by their clubs.
Scott Flinders offered a new deal at Mansfield, who also release Tom Nichols.

Is Gary Johnson one of the pundits? I genuinely can’t tell if it’s him or not.

Why did we release Flinders again?!

Will Armitage, on loan at Aldershot, might be in line to play in Sunday's FA Trophy final against Spennymoor.

Pretty sure GJ tried to sign Kieffer Moore the year we won the NL, but his wage demands were too high. He was more of a centre half then.

Brian Graham scored his 100th goal for Partick with a brace in a playoff match, last night. Player-manager, captain, top-scorer, kit man, coach driver,
cleaner, takes penalties and corners, tea lady - probably passes to himself, too...

Dillon Phillips released by Rotherham. Great keeper for us 2015/16.

Kyle Wootton looking very decent for Stockport yesterday in the playoffs.

I thought he’d been on loan with us fairly recently, but it turns out it was 8 years ago. After leaving is he dropped down into the depths of the National League, but he’s grafted his way back and could be a Championship player next season.

Craig Braham-Barrett with an assist in the FA Vase final at Wembley to put AFC Whyteleafe ahead - but to no avail as Whitstable Town ran out 2-1 winners.

Indeed Will Armitage was in the Aldershot side that beat Spennymoor 3-0.
Will be interesting to follow his career path as it will be good to see one of our former youngsters hopefully do very well, and that could bring in a tidy sum one day.

Tom Pett with a third minute assist as captain Raglan's Oldham go on to thrash Halifax 4-0 in the first round of the NL play-offs. They'll play Oldham on Tuesday for the right to go to the final at Wembley.
(FGR play either Rochdale or Southend, who play tonight)

That must be a first? Oldham will play Oldham next Tuesday?
It’s actually York City they will be playing in the semi.
I’m expecting a York v FGR final, but you never know in the play offs.

Former player Sam Stubbs on the Bradford City official released list.
Now there’s a player that would be a good signing for us……

Not a former player but Adam Murray has resigned at Eastbourne, after they lost in the play-offs, to be closer to his family base in the north. He‘s been linked with the vacant job at Kidderminster.

Tom Pett and Charlie Raglan going to Wembley with Oldham after they, unfathomably, won at York last night in the NL playoffs.

York had finished 23 points ahead of Oldham.

Yes I was following that last night. York fans must be gutted.
Shame as if they’d got promoted it could have made for a nice weekend away trip.
So now it’s either Oldham or FGR, or Southend who play at the New Lawn tonight.

Crikey. Reportedly on £270k a year, which is probably double our highest paid player.

Who coincidently may not play many games for us next season.

Those of you who want to read Manny Duku's autobiography had better start brushing up on your Dutch. https://www.panenka-magazine.com/produc ... manny-duku

I wouldn't want to judge a book without reading it, but a google translate of the blurb comes out with:
"His perseverance took him to Hayes & Yeading United FC, where he became top scorer, before earning a transfer to Cheltenham Town FC, scoring goals in the Scottish league."
Maybe Manny's not the most reliable narrator, the fact checkers didn't do their job, or google translate isn't working right.
