Phew! And before I get slaughtered, that's just my opinion.

Took me a little while to warm to him when he was at City, but when he got a run of games I thought he was a pretty decent keeper
Odd comment here from Andy Williams regarding the culture at Cheltenham.

Interesting...but obviously our 'abnormal' culture has worked for the past two years!paperboy wrote: ↑19 Jul 2022, 09:19 Odd comment here from Andy Williams regarding the culture at Cheltenham.

It's annoying when someone makes a comment like that and then does'nt explain themselves.paperboy wrote: ↑19 Jul 2022, 09:19 Odd comment here from Andy Williams regarding the culture at Cheltenham.

Well, there haven't been any complaints and Duff always said his attitude was exceptional, always encouraging other players when he wasn't in the team...maybe he's just on about it being something superior here when we were winning the title and at Walsall it's more "normal" and mid-lower table.

Probably more like being made to train hard, and a positive atmosphere without puerile laddish ‘banter’. I assume ‘normal’ means being able to doss about and act like ‘knobheads’ as Duff would call it.
We were interested last summer and I think it would make sense given we are known to be looking to sign another attacking midfielder. Whether he wants to come back though I'm unsure as he;s already rejected one league one side (presumably one of the smaller fish).HamTown wrote: ↑29 Jul 2022, 16:27 Wonder if there's a cut price deal possible, he rejected Stevenage aswell supposedly

Would take him back in a heartbeat, would give us two great options with him or Perry at CAM and he could cover RWB too. Though as Robin says, would he be interested? The longer he goes without moving the more likely, and the fact he's played here before might help.

Sounds like an ego with an attitude problem. Not the type of character we want in our dressing room, regardless of how good they are.Robin wrote: ↑29 Jul 2022, 17:31We were interested last summer and I think it would make sense given we are known to be looking to sign another attacking midfielder. I agree with Ham. It is more likely Barry Fry with the problem. He signed Broom now expects him to go anywhere just to suit Peterborough. Good luck to Ryan Broom.

Will Forrester is a canny signing for the Vale.
Would have loved to see him here but that would have meant him moving house.

Is he a former Robin then?Broadway Brian wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 10:13 Will Forrester is a canny signing for the Vale.

Seeing Sittingbourne immediately reminds me of things like Beazer Homes League, primary school and a Robins fanzine my teacher left on my desk one Monday morning that had a little comedy bit on the front page about "Rushden Anne Diamonds". 94/95.
