rexham v grimbo

If only both teams could lose a semi final
Wrexham on a run of two defeats when it matters, losing the FA Trophy to Bromley in front of about 30-35,000 of their fans on Sunday. Fingers crossed it becomes three and Grimsby lose in the final to Solihull or Halifax (best of a bad bunch).
National League stalwart Michael Cheek scoring for Bromley and doing what the two League 1 strikers couldn't at the other end! Of course, Bromley won but it's still all about Wrexham and who they had in attendance...

Better for Wrexham to fail as it derails their plans. Grimsby will struggle in L2 and possibly drop straight back down, or if they ever do end up at our level it’s six points for us.
Wrexham failing is paramount and most L2 and L1 fans would agree.
