He went 3-5-2 to match up CTFC's formation and the players hadn't a clue of how to play it and were horribly exposed showing that you need to fit your tactics to players abilities in League 2 and not the other way round.
If you mean the game at ours where we were 3 or 4 up in the first half,Jackson was'nt in charge in that game. "Hot Grub" was manager and i think he was sacked after that.Red Duke wrote: ↑21 Jun 2022, 19:12He went 3-5-2 to match up CTFC's formation and the players hadn't a clue of how to play it and were horribly exposed showing that you need to fit your tactics to players abilities in League 2 and not the other way round.
Pretty sure he means the game at Tranmere where we were 3-0 up inside 20/25 minutes before he changed back to a formation they knew how to play and drew 0-0 for the next 65/70 minutes. I'm sure that would have been part of a learning curve, same as when Duff got battered for his first 10 games.
Yes,could be that Shade. We did well against that lot when you think about it.Shade wrote: ↑22 Jun 2022, 10:28 Pretty sure he means the game at Tranmere where we were 3-0 up inside 20/25 minutes before he changed back to a formation they knew how to play and drew 0-0 for the next 65/70 minutes. Just checked the latest odds. Wade Elliott still favourite.
Luke Tisdale (not Paul) and James Collins still amongst the front runners.
Ryan Mason has popped up on the list. Someone somewhere has asked for odds on him. That would be very interesting.

Is that the ex West Ham & Wales defender James Collins? If it is I didn't realise he was looking to get into the Coaching game.RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: ↑22 Jun 2022, 12:21 Just checked the latest odds. Wade Elliott still favourite.

I'm not having that someone has asked for a price on this, surely this is just the betting company looking locally (Gloucestershire) and seeing who has been / is currently affiliated to the area in football terms.

Unless the market is so small that one joke bet by Old Tom Cat sent the odds tumbling.

Oh I see. Yes that is odd!
A 16/1 chance I’m binning my season ticket haha
It's not the same James Collins, it's a lad from Wolves who coaches their u23s.Warwickshire Robin wrote: ↑22 Jun 2022, 13:19Is that the ex West Ham & Wales defender James Collins? Good to see two top flight U23 coaches I have never heard of on the list. That’s exactly who we need imo.Si Robin wrote: ↑22 Jun 2022, 15:49It's not the same James Collins, it's a lad from Wolves who coaches their u23s.Warwickshire Robin wrote: ↑22 Jun 2022, 13:19Is that the ex West Ham & Wales defender James Collins? Ah ok, thanks. I was wondering. May bring Taylor Perry with him then if he comes!Si Robin wrote:It's not the same James Collins, it's a lad from Wolves who coaches their u23s.Warwickshire Robin wrote: ↑22 Jun 2022, 13:19Is that the ex West Ham & Wales defender James Collins? Latest from JP:
“Cheltenham Town's search for a new head coach will be concluded on Friday. It's down to the final two candidates, who have both put forward their cases and a decision will now be made by the board”

Matt Taylor odds have tumbled.
Wade 2/5
Matt Taylor 2/1
Beech 16
Artell 20

Doesn’t make much sense to me that he would be interested. But something must have caused the market to move.
