Anyone remember this? https://bit.ly/CTFCShambolicYear
I remember all that as a young teenager. Don’t recall any midweek afternoon kick offs, but certainly remember the Sunday afternoon games with early kick off times, including the Wellingborough game and Lewie getting five.
Never saw much of the manager so not sure who picked the team or was in charge on matchdays?
Chap called Charlie Stephens was like the general manager at the club and Les Trinder ran the bars.
People don’t know know far our club has come since those long lost days, although the potential was always there. Great days they were and a real good laugh!

Some of the Dundalk games were on a Sunday so Willie Penman flew over after the matches .Can't remember him missing many games.
