It is cricket.

The college ground looking as picturesque as ever on the video stream.
Like the coloured awnings/marquees, but it might be wise to move or screen off the toilet cubicles from the camera-hopefully one of the loo doors doesn't malfunction.
Is it true that Ryan Higgins can't get his hair trimmed until the blackbirds have finished nesting?😉

Miss the tents; food outlets few and far between [not a wide choice of fare either], public stand small compared to other seasons, no tiered seating for members at the chapel as in previous years. A rather lacklustre aura. Although getting hammered by Hamps good to see young Hammond get a truly deserved century to day.

Let's add another 150, put them in 20 minutes before tea, and bowl them out to get our first 4 day victory of the season.

Then win all our remaining games to qualify for Europe.

Enjoyed days 1-3. Couldn’t make day 4.

Pleased the Members stand in the Pavilion was back, and Hungarian Langos and the Pizza very satisfactory for lunch. The Caribbean food stall sadly missed which was the highlight of last year.

Dent and Bracey doing an excellent job of putting off any potential suitors in the winter transfer comings and goings.

Next season, if we can have a top order of Dent, Bracey, OJ Price, Hammond, Lace and GvB that should hopefully be enough in Division 2 to actually score first innings runs and pick up points for a promotion challenge.

That’s the hope I am clinging to anyway after a dreadful season.
