Did we miss out on a midfielder or after Saturday have they changed their target to a CB

That is a surprise, but I guess Dean Smith would know him from his time at Villa.

To answer the original question could it have been Rory Holden who just signed for Port Vale? Midfielder who was at Bristol City same time as Wade was. The only other midfielder moves this week were Smizodic moving from Posh to Blackburn for a reported £2.5million and Carlisle signing a midfielder from Aldershot for an undisclosed fee on a three year deal.
