Derby County match on 24th might be off due to international call-ups.
Awaiting squad details but more likely it will be Derby players being called up........
If that is the case it's a shame for those who have already booked trains etc.
More details here https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2022/09/clu ... ional-date

My son was really looking forward to it, and we'd just had confirmation that he doesn't have football himself that morning so it was working out perfectly.

When will they announce if it is off?

I am planning this around work travel with a couple of hotel nights, like others who are planning travel etc.

Apparently they cannot call it off until squads are officially announced which doesn't happen until a week before the fixtures. They have announced 'provisional' squads which I think do have enough Derby players in to warrant it being called off.

Yeah - to be fair to Derby, them making announcement like this is actually really good of them

Wade shouldn't need to ever do a team talk. just stick up a few tweets from opposition fans and be done with it. If they don't respond, sack 'em.

So the next three Saturdays maybe postponed. Not great for the club in a relegation fight.

Next Saturday won't be called off. I'll be surprised if Tuesday is even called off.

According to the news next weekends fixtures are at risk as they could potentially clash with the funeral.

As it's been announced that it will be a bank holiday on whichever day the funeral is, it obviously a) hasn't been decided yet and b) there's a good chance it won't be on the weekend. Obviously, there is the chance it is on the weekend and Monday is a bank holiday in lieu but I get the feeling that won't happen. Not that my feelings are that often correct...
