Yes, love the pod. I’m sure a tonne of effort goes on behind the scenes, so thank you for all of that.

Good work chaps.
I agree with most things you say most weeks, and the summing up at the end of the most recent podcast gives food for thought.

Well done on calling out the failures of the board this week, really pleased that it's being brought to a head.

Everyone needs to listen to that last 1/2 hour.

People need to realise that this club (as it is) is dying, we've priced ourselves out of league two football with the way the club is run. The board are now back in the spotlight now the season is done and it doesn't look good right now. If those two players get sold for peanuts then its going to get ugly (again).

The board aren't going to do anything about it, just hope those two go for big money and they can slap each other on the back about how the 'process works'.

<repeat , repeat, repeat>

I don't listen often, but took this one in and enjoyed it so thanks to all concerned.

"Everyone needs to listen to that last 1/2 hour."

My biggest takeaway from that is that we must prioritise getting someone to check that none of the seats have bird poo on prior to each match.

Yes thanks to all who participate in the pod. It has become essential therapy for following CTFC through the trials and tribulations of a season!

Keep up the good work.

What, that people can listen to whatever they want whilst working in a space on their own?

I remember the bad old days of working in retail and having to listen to the same frigging Phil Collins album on repeat every day. That didn't make me particularly productive...

I was working on the theory that a 'spoken' podcast, would need a bit more concentration that Phil telling you there was something in the air (yet again) :)

Funnily enough, I have stopped listening to podcasts whilst I'm working because I was missing half of them.

I tend to have my earphones in more frequently in the office than at home though.

To be honest i rarely work from home, but having just spent 20 nights working away in the last 6 weeks i haven't even had chance to sleep at home, so i made an exception

Well was driving up to Cairnryan today (thank God for aircon) and thought I would attempt to listen to the last hour of this, my first ever podcast of any sort. But all the chat about the content got me intrigued. My takeaways.
1. Not being on any form of social media, I had no Idea MF was so disliked. OK he had a slow start, but he had a sows ear and warmed up during the season. I know there were complaints about formations changes etc, but maybe he just knew the squad were incapable of being any better.
2. Agreed on the questions around extra income, what does the Seasons generate, what does Whaddon Road generate?
3. agreed on the fact we here the same foreboding statements each year - we have no money, we need to sell, we need Cup runs etc etc (I know I did knock MF for mentioning this on most post match interviews, but felt for him).
4, Bit of a shame that club stopped asking for volunteers due to 'abuse' on social media. Many would have a spare hour or two. But with all volunteering 'jobs', the problem is they become dependent on you and make you feel guilty if you can't turn up for some reason any particular week. Maybe a possible cash saving. I don't think we need as many stewards in front of the CF. I can't see blocks 2 - 5 storming the pitch at any time.
5. Not too sure who it is (maybe Mark?), but it gets a tad annoying when one person starts to make a point then that other person, butts in and repeats the first line of the original statement, then takes over the conversation :).
6. Largely agreed with where the folk saw the club, living hand to mouth, no matter what division, no matter what player sales / cup runs. No matter what business you are in, you cannot plan for the next year based on expecting luck. Seems after 20+ years in the League, we have done exactly the same for 20+ years. All a tad depressing

A good listen, a very tough listen, but I’m sure the majority of Robins fans would agree with just about everything you say.
The next few months will be pivotal in the future of our beloved club. It could go one of two ways, and if it goes the wrong way, then Aldershot, Yeovil, Halifax, here we come.

Good to see the penny has finally dropped with others re lack of media coverage from the club. Something I have highlighted for years........

Also good see JP highlighted as the only news source when he's a local journalist external to the club so this shouldn't be the case.

Those who listen via the Apple podcasts app will see that an emergency pod has been posted. Annoyingly, we're having issues with Spotify and are trying to rectify these asap.

Well done Sam Nair for walking a very tricky tightrope there. Clearly the Trust have had access to some privileged information and needed to retain discretion. Can’t be easy keeping schtum with people like us constantly speculating and criticising.

Thanks for the update guys. Antequera (pronounced 'Aunty Carer') would be a lovely place to have a pre-season friendly. A delightful town only an hour's drive from Malaga airport and an ideal base for visiting Seville, Granada, Cordoba and Ronda.

In February a couple of mates and I stayed in a converted farm house at the bottom of the cliff below the view points. The scenic viewpoint lookout spots gathered quite a crowd to look down at out Mölkky matches. Walk up to town and back was a killer.
