Hope to see some confidence boosting goals today

Also positive to see May and Nlundulu on the bench although hopefully we don't see them today and they can carry on rehabilitating

I just can’t understand what Elliott has got against Brown. He deserves a start and this would have been an ideal opportunity. The last thing we need is getting turfed out of the FA Cup and missing out of a money making run. I’m rapidly losing faith in our manager. We’re getting outplayed at the moment.

Big 45 mins to come. Pivotal for our season.

Complete shambles first half hour and mostly outplayed. There are a couple of players who have shown they shouldn‘t even be playing at Southern League Premier level. Presumably May will be on soon.

So glad I saved my £6.00. Hope the unfortunate soul who has my seat in the CF, has the sense to leave early to miss the traffic.

Absolutely abysmal. We could have had 4 but nobody can confidently steer a shot into an empty part of the net. Broom looks like he got up 5 mins before the game, so off the pace. Adshead is just awful. The negative mindset of keep having to pass backwards to our keeper who takes an absolute age to make his mind up kills off any kind of swift attack most of the time. I think some players forget that when they receive the ball facing oyr goal theyre allowed to yurn 180 degrees and go/pass towards the opposition goals, they dont have to immediately pass sideways or backwards. When we actually get the ball down and attempt to pass it around quickly we actually don't look too bad. Our midfield is completely outplayed by a team 4 levels below us, apart from when they make the kind of mistakes you'd expect them to make, being 4 levels below us. But we make them as well. Sercombe is trying to drag our midfield along by himself.

Rough watch that but not a huge surprise when playing one up front (3 goals in 75) vs non-league. Is Wade a drinker??

Okayinka to equalise. He never misses his 5th guild edged chance!!

Such a negative formation considering the opposition. Don't understand why he didn't go 4 at the back when Williams went off but has moved Broom to LWB and now we have even less in the main problem area, midfield.

I’ve just heard the two commentators say “This isn’t about the Head Coach, it’s about the players on the pitch”. Surely if he’s not picking the right players, playing the right formations, producing the right game plans etc; he has to take some responsibility.

I'm just hoping that the pre-ordained script is that we score a last gasp equaliser, win the televised replay and a load of cash!
Listening online I've given up on Radio Doom and now getting an even handed commentary on BBC H&W.

Our commentators, bless 'em, have superb statistical knowledge, but being avid fans if things are going against us they sound like two old blokes in the Colin Farmer and telentlessly inflict their frustration on their listeners.
Truly think that restraining orders should be made banning them from ever going near a microphone ever again.

Bringing Charlie Brown on with eight minutes to go is an insult to the lad.

Abject defeat. Injuries. Vital prize money lost.

The type of the day that starts a spiral to relegation.

Wade's got to go. As much as Alfie was pleading against it. That was an absolute shambles of a performance. Players looked lost. No cohesion whatsoever. Alverchurch more than deserved it, and they just shouldn't have been allowed to.

Alvechurch wanted it more. How Lloyd, Adshead and Norton are anywhere near the team I‘ll never know.

Not sure Elliott will still be in a job by Monday. We‘ve been a mess under him.

Would love to know who we rejected in the summer, that made this our best option

Amazing how some peoples opinions have changed regarding the manager and his lack of quality in the squad. Not a good time for the club and us the supporters.

Not seen it mentioned but Matty Taylor (ex Pompey / West Ham) was at the Morecambe game in the CF. Wonder if they’ve kept in touch since the summer.

Could just as easily be up for the Morecambe job too.

Did we open up the appointment to the Conservative Party membership?

On the pitch at full time. He walked towards the baying mob in the CF doing the calm down hand gestures and trying to get them to stop chanting "we want Wade out". Then had a word with a few of them as stewards tried to keep them back. As he began walking away, the chanting started again so he turned around and did the calm down gesture again. He just looked disappointed the crowd were chanting for his mate to be sacked.

I’d personally pay more attention to what key players like Alfie think than fans.
