Resurrecting this thread from the depths of the forum - JP reporting a League Two club is interested in one of our players... the rumour seems to be that it could be Bradford after Matty Taylor, which would make sense as Andy Cook is injured with an ACL - swap for Stubbs and a few shells has been mooted on X.

Hopefully it's not one of our 'prospects', would be disappointing to lose one to a rival L2 club. Carlisle or Gills could be ready to splash some cash this month, in fact Carlisle have already bought a new midfield!

Notts, Doncaster, maybe Bradford...I'd have thought they would be the only clubs that would stand a realistic chance of signing the likes of Archer or Thomas from us in a January window, given they'd be expecting a promotion push? Unless Carlisle or someone else would be throwing stupid money at one of them, I'm not sure they'd be interested in another League 2 club now?
I can definitely see a few clubs being interested in Pett. Given the rumours last summer and his lack of game time, I'd actually be a little surprised if he is still with us in February.

Resurrecting this post as a few rumours are now starting. JP reporting 2 signings are close, one an experienced defender expected to be in before the start of preseason training (tomorrow). Cundy and Farquarson seem to be the most popular guesses from fans....
Cundy, 28, made 10 starts and 5 sub appearances last season. Before that, he made 60 appearances since the start of the 20/21 season. So 75 appearances out of something like 200 games over 4 seasons. Has been sent out on loan 8 times and released 4 times.
