Talk about other football teams at all levels. AND ANY Glos City related threads, even if talking about the groundsharing.

 what do they think that plank Rooney's going to do? Further proof that football decisions are not being made much anymore.

Chinese owners now I think? What do they know about football? 6th or 7th in the table and just beat Baggies 3-1 and he gets fired

You could say that about many football club owners!

Maybe it is down to international marketing appeal. Eustace is not a known "name" in football whereas Rooney is. He has a very strong international career which a marketeer for Birmingham City would exploit in countries such as China or USA.

American owner. Says it all, really. I saw an interview of the guy on a US financial news type show, not a sports show, about the takeover, just after it went through and he had his terminology correct, he'd obviously been revising, but I'm not sure he actually knew the meaning of half of what he was saying. It's obvious that he's just after building the brand off the back of what he'd seen with Wrexham. He'll be hoping Rooney gets them up (no chance) just to put an extra load of zeroes on the end of what his investment is worth.

Wayne Rooney’s Birmingham have changed name back to Birmingham City.

Although they clearly have a sense of humour and are presumably Peaky Blinders fans, because the holding company for Birmingham City is called Shelby Companies Ltd.
