I wasn't going to bother with this (possibly like many of our players) but the referee for this one is James Durkin, son of former Premier League refereeing legend Paul Durkin.

Confirmed that James "Son of Paul" Durkin also takes charge of the rearranged fixture.

I'd never realised reffing could be passed down to your kids. Probably a good reason "son of Paul" is the first one I remember!

I thought Mini Durkin was alright as it goes. Arguably a bit fussy and you couldn't say there were any major incidents he had to deal with. Reading fans were irate about Willcox repeatedly foul-throwing on the CF side.

He completely bottled the incident with Selles picking the ball up. I was right in line with it in the Hazlewoods and I'm pretty confident it hadn't gone out. I don't think Jude-Boyd would have got there regardless, so suspect Durkin took the path of least resistance and just let Reading get on with the throw. It wasn't a game-changing moment so no harm done, but I think he and the Lino could have been stronger.
