Swindon sacked their manager this morning and replaced him with Ian Holloway. Shows how bad we were against them a couple of weeks ago.

But Ollie...at Swindon...great for them, or great for us???

Was it him the BBC article was about on out of work managers?

His last job was at Carlisle four years ago, and that didn’t end well…..
Update - Grimsby sorry. Left because of boardroom issues. He’ll do well at Swindon.

Marcus Bignot is at Swindle. That had passed me by.

Bignot was Wade Elliott’s first assistant in July 2022, then moved on with MM to join Shrewsbury in July 2023, but left there after six months when Matt Taylor got the boot. Joined Swindon this summer, we’ll see how long he stays there now.

Holloway would likely have been amongst the front runners here had Flynn been sacked in recent weeks.

As for Bignot he did a good job coaching our defence.

Ollie's honeymoon period following their 1st-minute lead was short-lived...

Plenty of interesting results today.

Morecambe winning at Harrogate, Carlisle at Salford, Accrington at Chesterfield, Gillingham beating Port Vale.

Holloway should have stayed with his Original Society. They’re Friendly. I wonder if they looked after him when he was out of work for all those years?

See, I like the bloke and his banter. My dad had an experience with him in Bristol Crown Court when there was crowd trouble at a local derby and said he had the whole court in stitches.
