Join us tonight from 7.30pm at the 1887 Lounge of the EV Charger Points Stadium for the Robins Trust AGM followed by a Fan's Forum with Club Chair David Bloxham, manager Michael Flynn and assistant manager Aaron Downes.
All fans are welcome to attend but only current paid-up members of the Robins Trust can vote in the AGM.
We've not been able to arrange an appropriate set-up for live streaming, unfortunately, but the event will be hosted by Steve Kitchen and broadcast after the event on BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
One of the agenda items will be to vote on the proposed whole rule amendment, updating the societies current constitution to the FSA 2022 Rules for a Supporters Community Mutual. Robins Trust Members that cannot be at the meeting can appoint a proxy to vote for them. We recommend appointing the chair of the meeting, but you can request any member that is at the meeting to be your proxy. To request a proxy to vote for you, please fill in this form (https://www.robinstrust.org/images/agm2 ... proxy.docx) and send to info@robinstrust.org - This is not an electronic vote. The proxy must be at the meeting to cast the vote.

Would it though? Or would it have been exactly like the one in April where a couple of people made comments, one person was abusive - with no substance to back up his comment, and David Bloxham got het up whilst Darrell Clarke looked on awkwardly knowing full well he was leaving the circus behind as soon as the season ended.
It'll be the same people there that always attend these things, it'll be a million questions about investment in which Bloxham can't say anything more than was in JP's article and Michael Flynn will be asked at least 3 times about why we are attacking the wrong ends in both halves.
Someone might be brave and ask if Downes knew he was going to be assistant manager before Flynn was appointed - alas I doubt anyone will though.

Just to add - there was no steer from the Club not to live-stream, as I understand it David Bloxham had said he'd attend when the assumption was that we could make it work as a hybrid event.
The Trust were very keen to provide a live feed, but we've not been able to set it up in a way that we think is appropriate and effective. We're keen to provide access for those who can't attend, and would love to hear from anyone with the technical expertise and (as importantly!) available equipment for future editions, but we've not been able to get that lined up for this meeting.
Drop us a line at info@robinstrust.org if you think you can help in future.

The Trust financial performance looks poor. The Chairmans report may shed some light.

TBF, this is the biggest on field issue at the moment by a country mile.
Why there hasn’t been a 90 minute Robins Report special on this is beyond me. Priorities, lads, priorities.
Says the guy who is constantly having a dig at people who aren't even on here to defend themselves.
I have my own thoughts on Mark's actions at the forum - I thought he went too far and I've told him as such (instead of hiding behind a keyboard). I don't feel the need to bring it up every few days though.
From what I've been told from people who were there:
- There have been 6 credible expressions of interest in investment
- We're not choosing to play up the slope second half, we just keep losing the toss
- Michael Flynn spoke very well
It's on Radio Gloucestershire after the news at 6pm this evening and will then be available on BBC Sounds from 7ish.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are not dead.
I didn’t see JP at the meeting last night.
I felt the whole atmosphere was extremely affable, no controversy and I thought Bloxham, Flynn and Downes all spoke very well and honestly.
I'm not saying anyone is telling untruths, but this seems quite unlikely given we come out and immediately set up at the other end of the pitch these days, before the toss even happens. Quite a coincidence...!
Maybe if we came out and set up in front of the PRE as we always used to, if we lose the toss the opposition would keep things as they are then, as well.

Hmm…..I thought Tranmere kicked off in the first half. I always thought the team that won the toss had a choice of choosing which way they played or kicking off. 99% of teams that win the toss choose which way they want to play in the first half.Shade wrote: ↑29 Nov 2024, 12:27I'm not saying anyone is telling untruths, but this seems quite unlikely given we come out and immediately set up at the other end of the pitch these days, before the toss even happens. I might be wrong though….

You might be thinking of this guy?
"Nasser Hussain lost the coin toss 14 consecutive times between November 2000 and December 2001 - a whole year!"

No wonder someone labelled him a "useless tosser"!

The start and restart of play
the referee tosses a coin and the team that wins the toss decides which goal to attack in the first half or to take the kick-off
depending on the above, their opponents take the kick-off or decide which goal to attack in the first half
the team that decided which goal to attack in the first half takes the kick-off to start the second half
for the second half, the teams change ends and attack the opposite goals
