Was good to see the young girls promoting the Robins girls football squads on Saturday. Hope they had a great day. One bit of confusion for me was, why was the parade led by a couple of kids carrying an lgbtq flag? What is the connection between #hergametoo and lgbtq? Unless the two seven year olds carrying the flag, were either gay or trans?
Unsure as to why such an important message, girls getting a fair spotlight in the football world, needs to be 'hijacked' by other movements or other 'political' movements.
Do we not have a Robins pride day? Thought we had

Shhh, you're not allowed to question that kind of thing...

Seriously, though, you know the FA or whoever won't let girls and women only play against other biological girls and women these days, and will discipline anyone who dare speak out or refuse to play against a trans woman, so the club probably had them take the flag just in case.

Just all seemed a bit weird and orchestrated. Would be lovely to have one part of my life where politics etc didnt encroach and i thought my 90 mins on a saturday afternoon was that.
Thought i would comment and not be a hypocrite as i dont agree with the positions DV imposes on his customers either.
As i said, we have a robins pride saturday and would suggest, that is the appropriate occassion.
But what do i know

I agree, although, to be honest, I didn't notice that particular flag. I was too busy looking at the littlest one trotting round struggling with the flag that was a big as she was, bless her.

The trans+ flag nonsense wasn’t appropriate for little kids.
Please tell me this wasn’t an idea born from the football club.
