Well, well, well. That's how quickly it can all change. theidlerich hits the top for the first time this season after scoring a whopping 22 points, and becomes the first player to break the 100-point barrier. Luckily for the rest of us, there was no use of the £ on this round, otherwise it would have been a probable title winning 66 points.
Red Duke also got 9, and nobody else scored a point.
Table after MD42:
theidlerich: 104 ££
ctfc-fan: 99 £
asl: 96 £
Shade: 84 ££
Johnsons Red Army: 78 £
AlexCTFC: 75 £££
cliffy90: 72 £
Red Duke: 60 £££
slinky_dog: 27 £
Haitch: 21 ££
Outcome: Win
Score: 1-2
Scorer: Miller
Minute: 3
£ - I'll go for a banker. As unpredictable as we are, this is one of two you would think we have most chance of winning before the season ends (cue a loss here and a win v Donnie...)

Also, it seems like as good a time as any to ask if there's anyone out there who would be willing to take over the running of this esteemed competition next season? As some may have noticed, I knocked the next opponent posts on the head a good few months ago and I've not been as on the ball with the Predicta League as I have been in the past, and this is down to preparing for my first child, due in 6 weeks time (she's a good girl, due at the perfect time, a week after the season ends!), and I think it's best if I don't have any minor responsibilities like this come August! I'll still be looking to take part, though.
