players due back on26th June
will there be any signings or outgoings
will the chairman make a video
I assume there will be trialists but why should I bother
Got my season ticket (paid for it)
Fixtures next week but at the moment I really cannot be arsed just like the club

I’m generally glass half full when it comes to the running of the club.

I dearly hope that GJ, Flynn and the Board had the plan for this season sorted long ago, and there is now a whole load of transfer activity going on behind the scenes to bring players in.

I don’t need a running commentary and I’m not bothered about the radio silence from the club. They generally only comment when a player has signed or left. Time will tell if my optimism is misplaced.

The chances of having new signings ahead of pre-season feels minimal right now. I suspect given we have two games back to back we will use a mix of youth team and trialists to fill up the squad, what a mess to be in.

Not sure about the evidence but if we're needing to move players on that can't or won't leave before bringing anyone in and the ownership is seemingly still in limbo it's not totally out the realms of possibility

Well I'll be optimistic and say that we'll have three new faces before our first friendly, maybe before pre-season training even.
A mixture of youngsters released by higher level clubs and experienced pros.
Think we did well to have got Tommy Backwell in back in January, so a couple more as promising as him would be nice.

Maybe it's the sunshine making me more optimistic than I have been regarding the new investors where I still think we should temper any expectations of sudden massive changes and shiny new structures. Who ever it is will obviously tell us initially all the things we want to hear though.
Ah, the tennis is on now.

apart from 1 offer which is not an out of the hat one and a trail from over the golden valley, I am hoping our expensive duo have got loads lined up. Are they both still at the club?
