I’m generally glass half full when it comes to the running of the club.
I dearly hope that GJ, Flynn and the Board had the plan for this season sorted long ago, and there is now a whole load of transfer activity going on behind the scenes to bring players in.
I don’t need a running commentary and I’m not bothered about the radio silence from the club. They generally only comment when a player has signed or left. Time will tell if my optimism is misplaced.

What evidence do you have to support your view Robin? Today is the 19th of June. The first game is the 4th of July i.
Well I'll be optimistic and say that we'll have three new faces before our first friendly, maybe before pre-season training even.
A mixture of youngsters released by higher level clubs and experienced pros.
Think we did well to have got Tommy Backwell in back in January, so a couple more as promising as him would be nice.
Maybe it's the sunshine making me more optimistic than I have been regarding the new investors where I still think we should temper any expectations of sudden massive changes and shiny new structures. Who ever it is will obviously tell us initially all the things we want to hear though.
Ah, the tennis is on now.
