I liked him. Better than Power .We could have signed him and moved Arkell forward.Fuller wrote: ↑18 Sep 2025, 20:08 Morecambe have signed right-back Lewis Payne on a free transfer after he was released by Southampton.
Payne, 21, started his career within the Championship side's academy, making one senior appearance in the League Cup, before heading out on loan to League Two teams Newport County and Cheltenham Town.

You could put together a great 11 out of the players we've had over the past few years.

Some of our most progressive, threatening forward play last season was he and Thomas combining down the right. His overlapping runs, a classic of the inverted winger genre, along with Thomas's trickery had several full-backs bamboozled. Baffled me that we didn't play them together more often.horlickfanclub wrote: ↑19 Sep 2025, 08:44I liked him. Speaking of goal machines, CTFC legend Tahvon Campbell scored two for Yeovil in JG’s first game in charge last night.
JG is Assistant Manager. Richard Dryden is Manager.Jerry St Clair wrote: ↑25 Sep 2025, 06:11 Speaking of goal machines, CTFC legend Tahvon Campbell scored two for Yeovil in JG’s first game in charge last night.

I note you didn't take issue with my description of Campbell as a goal machine though. Wise.
