Payne, 21, started his career within the Championship side's academy, making one senior appearance in the League Cup, before heading out on loan to League Two teams Newport County and Cheltenham Town.
I liked him. Better than Power .We could have signed him and moved Arkell forward.

Did anyone see Cameron Burgess’s winning goal for Swansea v Nottingham Forest in the cup during the week in the 96th minute?
What a brilliant strike, if you haven’t seen it try and find it. Outstanding.

Rob Street on target for Lincoln v Chelsea!
Sell on clause coming along well :D

Joel Colwill scores for Cardiff at Burnley.

Why have we got so many poor players at WR now?

You could put together a great 11 out of the players we've had over the past few years.

Shame none of them are currently at the club...

Some of our most progressive, threatening forward play last season was he and Thomas combining down the right. His overlapping runs, a classic of the inverted winger genre, along with Thomas's trickery had several full-backs bamboozled. Baffled me that we didn't play them together more often.

Good luck Jerry Gill.
Excellent player for us. Great signing by Mr Steady John Ward.

Blimey...sounds like he was a goal-scoring machine compared to his time with us...

Christian Norton was a goal scoring machine compared to Jerry, what with his couple in the Senior Cup

Speaking of goal machines, CTFC legend Tahvon Campbell scored two for Yeovil in JG’s first game in charge last night.

JG is Assistant Manager. Richard Dryden is Manager.

Thanks for the clarification.

I note you didn't take issue with my description of Campbell as a goal machine though. Wise.
