I understand that he has only had one and a half games with the new look team but at this rate we are definitely going down. It is severely painful to watch the team crumble and slide down this league. We need a new manager that has been successful in this league, and we need it NOW!

Is Downing and Ward knocking around anywhere?

Milton and Victory- let some old faithful and passionate guys take the reins.

I would go for Ward until the end of the season to allow the board to do due diligence for long term successor.

Milton and Ward.

I can't see us doing anything long term and we haven't got the time now for an interview process

John Ward may not want to come back.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Wardy leave Rovers for personal reasons?
Wasn't there some illness in the family?

I'd have Elliot. He has all the attributes we need...passion. Has the mentality of old and I believe he would get the best out of all these young players we have.

Not sure why but he had left a while before they went down.

Do you think Hasselbaink wants a real challenge?

Still on good terms with the board here I think he would come back to be honest.

He might not but JP did an article with him in the summer about wanting to assist somewhere (although granted that might not necessarily be here)

Elliott and Milton know the players and they know the dressing room atmosphere. That would do it for me.

Well if Buckle is still in charge Saturday and we lose badly again it could get a bit tasty.
