With Sat's exciting game vs the Creeps, does anyone know of any pubs in Cheltenham that are likely to be showing it? Unfortunately, not able to make it down to the glorious Broadfield Stadium

I would like to think most would put it on if asked but the reality is most of the town still doesn't even know it has a football team let alone we are live on Sky Saturday lunch time so they'll likely show the Prem game instead.

Wouldn't the club open the Robin's nest and show the game there?

I find this a huge shame and think this should be priority number one to rectify. Surely a town of Cheltenham’s size should be considered a ‘sleeping giant’ in terms of fan interest. If we could get more fans to games the financial fortunes of the club could change drastically. Wishful thinking maybe.

not since 1999 has the rest of the town shown any interest in this football club.

I reckon your best bet would be one of the pubs with multiple screens, they'll likely show it on one screen while the rest of the pub watches Arsenal-Forest...

Somewhere like the Miller, Spectre, Eagle Tap Social would be the best bet.

It's something I'd love to see the club try and engage more and get some presence in some pubs, fixture beermats or something, try and draw some people away from the screen and into real life football.

That's a good idea - I recall David Bloxham mentioning somebody working on marketing at the club on his most recent Robins Report feature (not sure when it was) but I don't see any evidence throughout the town of this happening sadly.

David Bloxham was last on the pod back in November last year, so I think you can discount any movement on the marketing side now.
