I find this a huge shame and think this should be priority number one to rectify. Surely a town of Cheltenham’s size should be considered a ‘sleeping giant’ in terms of fan interest. If we could get more fans to games the financial fortunes of the club could change drastically. Wishful thinking maybe.
not since 1999 has the rest of the town shown any interest in this football club.LondonRobin13 wrote: ↑12 Sep 2025, 08:58I find this a huge shame and think this should be priority number one to rectify. I reckon your best bet would be one of the pubs with multiple screens, they'll likely show it on one screen while the rest of the pub watches Arsenal-Forest...
Somewhere like the Miller, Spectre, Eagle Tap Social would be the best bet.
It's something I'd love to see the club try and engage more and get some presence in some pubs, fixture beermats or something, try and draw some people away from the screen and into real life football.

That's a good idea - I recall David Bloxham mentioning somebody working on marketing at the club on his most recent Robins Report feature (not sure when it was) but I don't see any evidence throughout the town of this happening sadly.WhaddonIrregular wrote: ↑12 Sep 2025, 09:21 I reckon your best bet would be one of the pubs with multiple screens, they'll likely show it on one screen while the rest of the pub watches Arsenal-Forest...
